Nascent Iodine (560-2oz-RS) is made of ionized Electromagnetic Iodine WITHOUT Elemental Iodine contains NO Elemental Iodine and has a CLEAR color.
Nascent iodine is a consumable form of iodine, and it contains an electromagnetic charge. Dr. Edgar Casey first worked with the electromagnetic charged form of iodine (ionized iodine) and was specific on how to formulate and produce the solution. Risingsun makes its Nascent (electromagnetic charged or ionized) iodide based on Edgar Casey's original formula and specifications. It is handmade just as the formula requires. No metal or atomized processing is used to manufacture Risingsun's iodine supplements, they affect the electromagnetic charge and purity. Unlike potassium iodide solution Nascent iodine solution must be prepared at a specific temperature and remain at that temperature for 10 days. Risingsun's Nascent Solution is the only Nascent product based on the original production technique specified by Edgar Casey. The iodine required for production of the Nascent solution is brine iodide, it must be pure and contaminant free. Distilled water is also essential, it is dead water, no minerals are present to effect the electromagnetic charged iodine.
Risingsun's 1mg per drop Nascent iodine solution is made with ionized elemental iodide and distilled water. When taking any iodine supplement it must be as pure as possible, free from heavy metals, impurities and contaminants.
Iodide, essentially, is the only form of iodine found in nature. Iodide is the ionic state of iodine, occurring when iodine forms a salt with another element such as potassium. In this form, iodide can be ingested or applied topically. The potassium iodide used in Risingsun's Nascent Ionic Iodide-Iodine Solution Supplement is extracted from an ancient underground brine mine. Iodide brine mining is the extraction of useful materials (elements, compounds) which are naturally dissolved in brine.

Structure Function Statement: Supports Thyroid - Hormone - Metabolism - Immunity and Nerve Health. The function of the thyroid gland is to take iodine, found in many foods, and convert it into thyroid hormones: thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). Thyroid cells are the only cells in the body which can absorb iodine. Low iodine levels slow your metabolism and encourage food to be stored as fat, rather than be burned as energy. Thyroid hormones play an important role in a wide range of bodily functions, including metabolism, bone health, immune response, and development of the central nervous system (CNS).
Manufactured by: Risingsun Iodine Products an FDA inspected and GMP certified iodine supplement manufacturing facility located in Livingston, Montana USA. (FDA FFR registration No. 18101635346) (EPA, NAICS and SIC registered and listed) (State Montana Registration No. Pending)
Available Sizes: 1oz (30ml) - 2oz (60ml) - Liter (1000ml)
Serving Size: 2oz (60ml) - 1182 servings (1182 vertical drops) each drop contains 1mg of iodine.
Ingredients: Distilled water and electromagnetic (ionic) elemental iodine.
Dosage: 2 to 4 drops added to (4-6 oz) drink or as directed by your health care practitioner.
Non-Allergenic Ingredients: Iodine isn't considered to be an allergen (something that triggers an allergic response) since it occurs naturally in the body and is actually necessary for thyroid function. However, some medications, solutions, or concentrations that contain iodine may cause a person to have an allergic reaction. Risingsun iodine solutions contain iodine, potassium iodide and distilled water.
Not all Iodine Supplements are alike: The sources of iodine utilized in iodine supplements are not the same. Sources for iodine used iodine supplements can be from Shellfish, Kelp and brine. People have allergies to shellfish, so this source poses a health hazard. Iodine isn't considered to be an allergen (something that triggers an allergic response) iodine is essential for thyroid and hormonal functions in the body. Shellfish allergy is sometimes confused with iodine allergy because shellfish is known to contain the element iodine. But iodine is not what triggers the reaction in people who are allergic to shellfish. Although sea kelp is safe to eat in plant form, taking sea kelp supplements can be dangerous. Kelp contains concentrated doses of heavy metals that occur naturally in kelp, but can be toxic to humans in supplement form. Kelp purifies the oceans and extracts and absorbs heavy metals from the ocean. The best source for iodine is from brine mining, iodine produced naturally in the form of iodide which is then combined with potassium. Risingsun only uses brine mined potassium iodide. Brine mining is the extraction of useful materials (elements or compounds) which are naturally dissolved in brine. Brines are a major source of iodine supply worldwide. Major deposits occur in Japan and the United States. Iodide is recovered from deep brines pumped to the surface as a byproduct of oil and natural gas production. Brine mining is the extraction of useful materials (elements or compounds) which are naturally dissolved in brine. It differs from solution mining or in-situ leaching in that those methods inject water or chemicals to dissolve materials which are in a solid state; in brine mining, the materials are already dissolved.Around 500 BC, the ancient Chinese dug hundreds of brine wells, so brine mining has been used used for about 2567 years, give or take a few years.
Heavy Metals tested for: The Resource Recovery and Conservation Act (RCRA) lists and monitors a group of eight heavy metals which are commonly referred to as the RCRA 8 : Arsenic (As), Barium (Ba), Beryllium (Be), Cadmium (Cd), Chromium (Cr), Lead (Pb), Mercury (Hg), Nickel (Ni), Selenium (Se), Silver (Ag). Risingsun has independent labs to test and verify the content for the RCRA 8 metals. These eight metals are extremely toxic at even small concentrations. Heavy metals are now being found in USDA certified foods, vitamins, superfoods, herbs and dietary supplements at disturbing high levels. Neither the USDA nor the FDA have addressed this seriously growing issue by setting standards as to what limits are acceptable. Risingsun has taken the steps to address this issue by implementing the most stringent heavy metal content levels allowed or acceptable for manufacturing its supplements below 1ppm (Parts Per Million). COA's show the heavy metal content of supplements, that is why Risingsun has COA's performed on each batch and lot produced.
COA (Certificate of Analysis): COA's are available on request. COA's are required to be performed on every supplement by the FDA to ensure it meets CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations. CGMP refers to the Current Good Manufacturing Practice regulations enforced by the FDA. CGMPs provide for systems that assure proper design, monitoring, and control of manufacturing processes and facilities. Adherence to the CGMPs regulations assures the identity, strength, quality, and purity of dietary supplement products by requiring that manufacturers of medications adequately control manufacturing operations.
Unique Product Packaging: Risingsun takes pride in the iodine supplements it produces, and the packaging clearly shows that. Instead of inserting the dropper in the bottled iodine solution a black phenolic cap(lid) with a cone liner is affixed to the bottle to eliminate the iodine solution from evaporating; then a shrink band is applied to the cap(lid). The dropper and sealed bottle of iodine solution are inserted into a bubble bag then placed in a product box; shrink bands are then applied over the box. --- When droppers are placed in iodine solutions (red solutions), the iodine vapor stains anything that is stored next to the iodine solution and the vapor also hardens the dropper bulb so iodine can not be drawn into the dropper. Those that use lugols iodine or similar supplements have experienced these issues.
